Kindergarten is Wild about Reading
This week in the library, we talked about having good manners. I read Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak and we talked about what we do when we are feeling wild. It was a great time to play the Wiggle Freeze game that Mrs. Trentham showed me from the PreK 3 year old class. They love going wild with the wiggles and being the best frozen statue when I say "Freeze!"
Next, we colored pictures of our wild selves doing what we like to do when we feel wild. There are some great imaginations in kindergarten. I hope they never lose that!
